The DTA1000 is a user friendly Digital to Analog TV converter. It’s not only designed for the NTIA coupon eligible converter box (CECB) program but it’s also the best choice to enjoy digital programs without changing your TV set!
The set-top-box can convert all broadcast digital format programs to an analog SD output. All free to air digital programs can be viewed on an analog TV set.
Connect the antenna to the F-type connector on the rear of the unit. The antenna can be mounted on the roof or another appropriate location. It should be aimed towards local DTV broadcast stations for best reception. DTV stations broadcast on both VHF (Ch2 - Ch13) and UHF (Ch14 - Ch69) channels. Make sure to use an antenna that works at the desired frequencies so the converter box can pick up all available DTV broadcasts on those channels.
